Match | Pewter Rimmed Vase

These rimmed vases were imagined as modern urns — curvaceous containers, in classic proportions, with a larger capacity for flowers. We offer this elegant design in three sizes, and highly encourage mixing with other styles, of varying heights and sizes from our collection, to create abundant arrangements. While most match pieces are cast, these small treasures are spun from two discs of pewter—one for the body and another for the base. Spinning is a process by which a disc of pewter is rotated at high speed and formed into a symmetrical shape. A high degree of skill is required to smoothly shape the final contours and details. The base is formed in a similar manner and joined to the body by soldering.

PRODUCT CARE

• All match pewter can be hand washed in warm water with liquid dish soap. Be sure to dry the pewter completely, as water allowed to dry on pewter may cause spots. Some items, such as Flatware and Dinnerware can be machine washed using a liquid dishwasher soap, on the lowest heat setting, for both the washing and drying cycles.
