Divisions Wine Co. | Gamine Rosé Grenache Pettilant
-Local Athens Pick-up Only-
This lively and refreshing rosé sparkling wine is produced by Division Winemaking Company, an innovative urban winery based in Portland, Oregon. Founded by Kate Norris and Thomas Monroe, Division is known for its commitment to sustainable practices and minimal intervention winemaking.
"Gamine" Rosé Grenache Petillant is crafted from 100% Grenache grapes sourced from Mae’s Vineyard in the Applegate Valley. The wine undergoes primary fermentation in the bottle and is aged for over 1.5 years, resulting in a naturally sparkling wine with a fine, persistent mousse. It showcases a hazy pink hue and an aromatic bouquet of red berries, wild strawberries, and a touch of citrus, with subtle hints of minerals and herbs.
On the palate, it offers a delightful blend of bright red fruit flavors, crisp acidity, and a refreshing finish. The wine's mineral-driven profile and vibrant bubbles make it an ideal choice for any occasion.
Pairings
This versatile pétillant naturel pairs beautifully with a variety of dishes, including seafood, light salads, and fresh cheeses. Its bright acidity and fruit-forward profile make it an excellent match for sushi, charcuterie, and Mediterranean cuisine. Perfect for casual gatherings or as an aperitif, this sparkling rosé is sure to impress. -AO
