Peay Vineyards has farmed their West Sonoma Coast estate organically from the first season, and this Anderson Valley Savoy Pinot shows what that discipline produces when applied to a naturally cool site. The 2022 opens with red plum and Earl Grey tea on the nose, then delivers zingy Rainier cherry and blood orange framed by lavender and new leather. The texture is velvety, the tannins soft, and the finish long and bright.
