Alcohol Free Muller-Thurgau Secco NV
Fritz Müller has been making Perlwein — Germany's answer to Prosecco — in Rheinhessen for generations. The Secco is built from Müller-Thurgau grapes, a cross developed in 1882 that produces aromatic, floral whites ideal for light sparkling wines. The non-alcoholic version starts exactly the same way as the alcoholic one: same grapes, same fermentation, same light effervescence. Then, after the wine is complete, the alcohol is gently removed through vacuum distillation, which extracts the alcohol at low temperatures to preserve the delicate aromas.
The result is a genuinely delightful non-alcoholic sparkling drink — not a juice, not a soda, but a real wine-adjacent experience. Gorgeously floral on the nose (jasmine, white peach, lychee), with a chalky, slightly earthy minerality underneath. On the palate it's crisp and lively, with soft bubbles and a clean fruit finish. 90 points from Wine Enthusiast.
Serve cold at any occasion where you want the festive ritual of sparkling wine without the alcohol. A particularly good choice for pregnant guests, designated drivers, or anyone doing a dry month. Rheinhessen, Germany. NV.
