"Paella Fiesta!" with Chef Alejandro Ortiz of Pinta Kitchen, Saturday, June 1st,6:00pm-8:00pm

Join Chef Alejandro or PINTA KITCHEN (formerly NRML COOK) for an engaging evening of Spanish cuisine with our "Paella Fiesta" class, hosted by Chef Alejandro Ortiz. This session is a blend of culinary learning and hands-on experience, perfect for anyone eager to dive into the flavors of Spain.

We start the evening with a classic "Tabla" An assortment of Spanish meats and cheeses, along with olives and fixings – sets the stage for the rich flavors to come.

The centerpiece of our class is the Chicken and Chorizo Paella*. Chef Alejandro will guide you through the process, sharing his expertise in balancing the robust taste of chorizo with the subtlety of chicken, all while ensuring the rice cooks to perfection. It's about learning the technique, understanding the ingredients, and enjoying the creation of a type of dish that's at the heart of Spanish cuisine.

Throughout the evening, we'll also be sampling a variety of Spanish wines, each selected to complement the dishes we prepare. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply curious, these pairings will enhance your dining experience, offering a taste of Spain's rich wine heritage.

"Paella Fiesta" is an opportunity to learn, taste, and enjoy the essence of Spanish cooking in a welcoming and informative setting.

*Chef Alejandro’s disclaimer: In Spain Paella is never made with Chorizo, it’s something of a faux-pas. Traditionally, no “embutidos” (pickled stuff) or cured meats are ever added to any of  the many varieties of paellas made in Spain.  Oh well. In the States most Paella is made with Chorizo, just is what it is, and we’re going to make it that way and it will be delicious!  #nochorizopaellainquisition
