The Silo Taper Hurricane holds taper candles steady and shields the flame from drafts with a hand-blown borosilicate glass shade - practical for dinner tables, mantels, or outdoor gatherings where wind would extinguish a bare flame. A finger loop on the wheel-thrown stoneware base makes it easy to carry between rooms.
Made from 100% lead & cadmium-free American-made stoneware clay and glaze. Wheel-thrown and glazed by hand in Woodstock, Vermont - slight variations in glaze and form are a natural result of the handmade process.
Stoneware base: microwave, oven, freezer, and dishwasher safe. Glass hurricane shade: hand wash recommended.
